Volunteering

We welcome interest in volunteering on the day. We are especially keen on people in a range of occupations – electricians, nurses, IT technicians, doctors, decorators, solicitors, mechanics – to name a few, to come along and talk about getting in and getting on their respective fields.

Careers Fair

The Careers Fair aims at providing information on employment and education opportunities available to young people and adults in Greater Manchester. This should give everyone ideas on taking up a hobby, returning to education and/or retraining. There will also be advice on preparing applications and preparing for interviews. Major employers will be present on the day advertising employment opportunities.

Stalls

We welcome any body that fits the above criteria to apply for a stall on the day. Spaces are limited and executive decisions will be taken on allocation based on early applications. Businesses and interest groups may also apply for stalls to advertise their activities. We ask for a donation from charity/community groups. There is a fee for statutory groups and businesses.
